Life after October 7th – “We had to join the struggle in some way”
A few weeks after the war began, Or and Neta joined the families of the kidnapped in their own fundraising initiative. “We couldn’t sit at home and do nothing with ourselves. The idea for the bracelet came up on a routine evening at home, after we had occupied ourselves and the children for whole days with all kinds of volunteer work, we were looking for ways to contribute through our world. We contacted the headquarters of the kidnapped families and began to produce and sell a red thread of every cut bracelet of every cut diamond. The foundation was awarded by us to the families of the kidnapped in an emotional and powerful meeting, as they say – we came to get stronger and we have gotten stronger to this day, we sold thousands of bracelets thanks to which over two million shekels were collected in donations to the foundation. The headquarters store and the profits from it are donated to the fight for the return of the kidnapped. We are happy to be part of the fight and at the same time we are eagerly waiting for the day when we will no longer have to engage in this work, better and quieter days
